Its Chinese New Year, and the blacks are out ruling the streets. ewwws.

Some time ago, you one day realise... how come theh sudden influx of cheenas and banglahs?!?!

Adults are so superstitious, there's like no reasoning in the things they say.

Rights, everyone's talking about what they want for their 21st bday, or how to celebrate it. Hmmmm, its quite a tough decision, cos i've got a small budget, unlike some lucky pple who've got sponsored a thousand bucks!!! GOSH!!! SAD, if only my parents would sponsor, well i'm daydreaming.

As of now... wants/dont wants.
1) I don't want earings and bracelets or necklace. u'll notice i hardly wear them, and my earhole is prone to infection.
2) Maybe a Bag, a nice one. Like maybe Coach? Guess? Paris hilton? Miu Miu black cofferwould be perfect!!!! The real one is damn ex but i don't mind the fake one from highreplica.com cos i really like the design!
3) A Violin?
4) Not a watch. I love my current one
5) Plastic surgered nose! HAHAH!
6) A new phone. Some pretty phone

Prosperity burger rocks!

Not the taste of the burger, cos its too spicy for me.
But the "luck" it brings.
Maybe its just me being superstitious, or maybe its just by chance, but i ate a prosperity meal just now, and i've gotten all my preferred tutorial slots!

A blessing in disguise maybe. There's a screw up in my cors thingy i guess, and the tut slots that i'm allocated didn't appear in cors. CORS says i have no allocated tutorials. =( So i balloted for my tutorials, and i've gotten all that i wanted! Despite my thurs and fri are fully packed from ard 10 - 6, no breaks! But at least i have a kind of selk declared 3 day week for the whole sem! woohoo!

Yays yays! A|X stuffs have arrived! And they fit perfectly! yippeee! =)

Not much pics to post, cos my cam spoilt! Thats quite long ago, but till now, its still not fixed! =(((((((((

I love tues and weds, cos its my off day. Yippee! I dunno why i'm so tired everyday, gosh, maybe old already..!

Finally satisfied my craving for indo chicken, since the indo trip. Sg's indo chicken rocks, big chicken, alot of sauce!

I've been logging on to ivle religiously and awaiting for the tut slots for SEA 3221 to be put up, cos registration is on a first come first serve basis. She said she'll put it up at 6pm sat, and till now, its not even up yet, cheat my feelings! I've only got one slot that i want, and hopefully it'd be playing instrument. I don't wanna sing, cos gotta learn the song in THAI?! and i can't sing! I wanna play instrument, at least i can like mask my mistakes, unlike if its dance, the mistakes would be magnified and obvious! HAHAH! The perf is 30%, so i gotta strategise! Be a cheapo and choose a simple instrument, hahah! A public perf, gosh..!

I'm gonna stay away from buffets for a few months. Had crystal jade steamboat buffet on sat night. We sat there from 830 all the way till 12am! gosh, the longest i've ate, and halfway through, i'm full enough. Free flow of xiao long bao, damn shiok! Think its the earliest i concuss, its only 3+am. And the next morning, my tummy had an acute pain on the right, on the side i slept facing. Guess its indigestion, and the bulk of indigestion falling over to the right side. Gosh, pain pain!

I've got a 3 day week for the first half of the sem, yays!

Cos... finance lecture has got webcast, and thats the only lect i have for the day. Its kinda waste time to spend like 3 hours getting ready and travelling to school just for a 2 hr lect. Yes, that happens to my mon as well which the macro lect has no webcast. Yup, so i'm damn happy! if only macro has webcast, i'll be having 2 day week, OMG, shiokness! But doubt thats gonna happen. There's this AIS which has 2 tut slots for the 2 halves of the sem, and the 2nd half one falls on my supposedly free tues, so i can only enjoy 3 day week for the 1st half of the sem. Well, better than nth. My thurs and fri are rather packed. thurs sld be like 12 - 6, and fri 9 - 6. Gosh, so long, think i'll die!

School is.... hmmmm boring? How fun can it be lor. No more eyecandies this sem i swear! Gotta focus focus!

I spent 2 days spring cleaning my room, and its only 2/3 done. 1/3 more to go! more stuffs to get!

Went ikea, supposedly just to get 1 or 2 item i had in mind, and ended up getting many stuffs to recreate a new theme to usher in the new year, and ward off some bad luck. I dunno, just a feeling that 2009 is a bad year where everything goes wrong.

Now it looks....

and hopefully, condusive for studying.

I wanted to paint my wall Pink and light pink in stripes, like the victoria secrets look. Now think purple would suit the anna sui theme better.

And some of my furnitures are already blue in colour, like can't get totally the look i want.

Back from Batam!

Its only 2d1n but it felt so long.

Nice villa, facing the sea. Sea breeze rocks.

Dubious people all around makes batam a scary place, or rather we were too high on guard.

Apparently, its funny how the locals could recognise us as tourists straightaway, and approach us for taxis. Those outside the malls are chopping cai tou la! 20bucks for a ride, while roadside ones are prob about 10bucks?

No more atas life. No more looking at the menu and order anything regarless the price. Every meal we had its chicken. The chickens there are so teeny weeny. The grilled chicken is dissappointing, singapore's ones of indo chicken are much nicer.

Shopping there sucks, other than the hypermart which sells many cheap beauty prods.

The 2hours of sleep made us all zonked out.

Missed the sunrise, even though the whole piece of sky is in front of us, cos the sun rised from the other side. boooo =(

The boat ride on choppy water made me still feel the effects of the rocking after back homne.

Volleyballing/soccering on the coarse sand, which makes my right feet look like a pig's trotter.

Back to civilisation feels so good. No robbers to worry about, no swindlers to worry about, no murderes/killers/rapists to lookout for, don't have to dress damn lok kok so that we don't attract robbers. A trip there just makes me appreciate singapore more. haha.

Loving the nature!

Town is getting boring, so time to explore other areas/nature of singapore before its gonna be destroyed in future!

Botanic garden and picnic-ing! Climbed the big tree that you see on the $5 note, and i can't believe my leg is aching from the climbing at the end of the day. Sign of unfitness! It was quite scary!

Then, trekking at the sounthern ridges. Its near hbf, and we walked blindly, up to mount faber! Explored other places like henderson wave, some foresty place, the longest bridge! i never knew such places exist in singapore, only to discover it after 20 years. ok, better late than never!

Yes, i love nature!

Anyway, have been having little nyonya marathon cos i've missed out alot. Initially, i don't even catch it on TV unless on rare occassion when i'm at home, or someone's house at 9pm. Then, watching it makes me rather attracted to it, cos its differnt from usual locl dramas. Don't really like local dramas, cos they usually depict the quarels and fights and other issues prevalent in current society. Ok, so this nyonya show is different, such that it educates on the peranakan culture, as well as the status of women in olden days. It makes me appreciate the equal status btw men and women in modern society, as well as abhor the traditional mindset of women in olden days had. Like how women must sucummb to their fate; marry whoever their parents arrange; being seen as sexual objects by men; locked up in the house and cook, knit, and wait to get married; being overly superstitious which are so irrational and bullshit. When i was 7, i told my mum that i'd get married at 20 years old. Now that i'm 20, i'm glad i'm not married! haha

A new year begins.

A year past by fast indeed. It's quite an eventful year indeed, filled with many activities, ups and downs. I guess 2009 won't be as hectic, as i've chosen not to join alumni, and dance. But instead, will concentrate more on schoolwork (i hope!) going to hit 21 years old alr, gotta be more disciplined, and consider about my future. I'm gonna step into adulthood soon! sheesh it sounds so old.

I wrote down so many new yr resolution last year, and look at me.. mostly undone, and feeling guilty. So this year, i shall reduce my wishes/resolutions
- to find an intership that interest me, particularly in the fashion/beauty industry
- pull up my cap
- be disciplined
