haha, i think i'm just very fickle minded. just a week ago, i was quite determined to get into fashion marketing despite objections from my parents, and was totally uninterested in any uni courses. a few days later, after hearing my brothers' saying about how the working world judges one on its school and cert, i've decided that nafa probably wouldn't get me far so maybe i shall do marketing instead. then, a few days ago at dan's hse with serene and peace, we saw his uni application, and i didn't even feel like entering uni or continue studying at all. at the sight of all the compulsary business foundation module, the thought of taking business and having to integrate these alienic stuffs into my next 2 years was a turn-off.
then just today, after visiting nus, i suddenly became ambitious and wanted to take double degree in business and sth else; take up the university scholar program cos it offers alot of opportunities; join the stud exchange prog in some other overseas uni, i want to go especially havard or oxford cos it sounds prestigious! if they're going to send me to some china/india uni, i die also won't go. i'll probably fail everthing there cos i'll have absolutely no idea what they're talking about, and i'll take forever just to finish a single piece of chinese essay cos i'll need to check up the dictionary for every single word. then i would do everything, even if i don't complete all that i need within 4 years, to get a first class honours, cos its sounds nice and sth to be proud of. comparing gold and gold w honours, which one would you prefer? of cos the one with honours right?! cos its an honour to get honours. and cos my brother is taking honours, i wanna take as well. and since he's going france for 2 years, i wanna go somewhere comparable or even better. then saw a fren who's the vp of some business club and i jokingly said i want to be the pres, and he said he'll train me. yay! i want to be a director or some very big-shot post in future that everyone will kowtow upon seeing, earning 10k or more a month and owning ferraris and big mansion that looks like palace. but i guess my dream is just too far-fetched. and its only temporary. i guess i'll change my mind after a few days. and i guess after gg smu tmr, i'll have a different set of dreams. angie (my classmate) was doubting if i can wake up so early and reach pp at 8. and i especially woke up earlier than usual - even though i only had 3-4 hours of sleep and knowing everyone else would be late as usual - just to prove to her i can! all her fault.. i'm super tired! then limjie led us to this part of pp which i know of its existence only today. |
